On Thursday, January 29, 2015, four teams from Palm Beach Gardens High School competed in Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Fourth Annual Entrepreneurship High School Challenge. Approximately 30 teams competed from all over South Florida. We are pleased to announce that one of our teams placed second in the competition and won $500.00! The team was comprised of three outstanding magnet seniors: Deborah Mendez, Tina Nguyen and Quincy Dougherty. The team presented their business plan for Gatorbucks, a student-run coffee business similar to Starbucks. PBAU hosted an outstanding event which consisted of the competition, keynote speakers, and a luncheon. It was a day enjoyed by all and we are truly proud of our Gatorbucks team for their second place win and all of their accomplishments at PBGHS!
